DDH categorises certain journal data sources as “trusted.” Trusted sources are those that:
- Agree to the Terms of service for trusted sources
- Adopt DDH diamond criteria.
- Enhance their journal metadata to align with the DDH diamond criteria.
- Share the journal data (including diamond categories) with DDH.
How to Become a Trusted Source of the Diamond Discovery Hub
Publishers, Service Providers as well as Tools and Technology Providers can become trusted data sources of the Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH) after the registration in the EDCH registry. Their representatives need to create an account in the registry https://registry.diamas.org/register, and once the account is approved, they will be able to log in and create an Organisation. When asked “Is your organisation interested in becoming a Trusted Source for the Diamond Discovery Hub?”, they need to select “yes”. The DDH administrator will then contact the organisation, usually within 10 working days (outside of holiday seasons), to discuss the next steps.
The representative(s) of the trusted source will get a new user account and the organisation will be added to the list of trusted sources. This will enable the new trusted source to submit their verified journals to the DDH using one of our available ingestion methods.
