For DDH editors

Editors can verify data from non-trusted sources through the DDH interface. Example: the DDH editors can verify data from DOAJ that has not yet been verified in the CRAFT-OA project, or data from other aggregators that can be imported into the DDH later. The DDH editors can choose journals from a list to verify, create a verification assignment, and edit the journal metadata.

The DDH editors can filter journals using the “owned by” filter. DDH editors collectively represent a special type of the trusted source within the DDH system. They “own” journals that do not belong to any data source. The “owned by” filter helps to distinguish between these journals and journals owned by other data sources.

Since the DDH editors can assign unverified journals to themselves for a verification task, there is a filter “Diamond status” that helps to distinguish unverified journals from the verified ones. The editors can also use the “Assigned” filter to keep track of their tasks.

If any changes are proposed to the journals owned by the DDH editors, the filters “pending updates” and “pending deletions” help to filter out the journals that need their attention and action. Additionally, the DDH editors can filter journals by individual diamond criteria.
