The Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH) is one of the services of the European Diamond Discovery Hub (EDCH) and a Key Exploitable Result (KER1) of the CRAFT-OA project. The Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH) aims to become a comprehensive registry for institutionally published and scholar-led Open Access journals without author fees in Europe, designed to improve the visibility and discoverability of diamond OA journals.
Thus, Diamond Open Access journals become visible within a larger collection of institutional journals highlighting the diamond model and reaching recognition for their diamond effort. Through the DDH, Publishing and Institutional Service Providers can support their journals by getting their data aligned, improved and harmonised for broader dissemination. Reader & authors, Research Performing Organisations can assess the nature of Diamond open access journals and their publishers. Funders can assess if a journal qualifies as a Diamond journal. Aggregators can reuse the index, retrieving diamond journals data compliant with their requirements.
The DDH is a dynamic data collection, growing over time.
